Thank You

Dear Organizers, Participants,

Today was ended the project. I would like to thank all of You.
During these days we had a lot of activities, saw wonderful views of Romania, everyone learnt about cultures, customs of other countries.
We discussed about European citizenship, we took interviews from local citizens. Also we were met with local authority of Ramnicu Valcea.
Eventually, all participants worked in groups that to create an acting of theatre – forum play. It showed us how identify a problem and what matter to solve issue point without the violence.
I think that everyone of us gained useful experience and we will apply this context in our future practice.
Finally, I would like to say that I am very happy for opportunity to attend in this project. A theme of this event was “Youth Democracy”. So, don’t forget, as Abraham Lincoln said: “Democracy is a government of the people, by the people and for the people”.

Good – luck.

Active participation

We had to search our minds in order to find what active participation means to us. It really made us think about different varieties of topics which concerned the young generation. All of us used our imagination and creativity and made fantastic pages for our notebooks.
The Hungarian cultural evening really amused all of us.We had a great fun learning the 'cinege' song.We enjoyed their food and drinks and the wonderful presentation about Mishkolc.

Romanian night

Yesterday we weren't so busy like the day before. We went to the park and did some strange but funny games. Every country showed a tipical game to make the others laugh. After that everyone of us expressed their own opinion about 'what makes us different' and in what way everyone of us is unique. There were very interesting answers on the first topic like we are different by culture, religion, colour of hair and so on.
After that we had to take interviews from the locals. It was quite a challenge because most of them had different and interesting opinions. In the evening we spent our time exploring Romanian culture. We had the chance to taste the national cuisine of Romania and learn how to dance their traditional dances.
All in all it was a wonderful day full of positive emotions and exciting experiences. :)))

The fourth day of The Project

Hello,

This day we dedicated for an intercultural day. All participants met in a central park of Baile Olanesti. We started from energising games, discussed about diversity and why people, cultures there are different (main words were: ethnocentrism, discover differences, understand differences, enrichment yourself).
After that all participants of this project were divided in groups. Every group created issue questions about diversity in countries and then went to ask local people through the city of Baile Olanesti.
I am proposing a questionnaire of our group and one situation of seven, when respondents ask to questions.

Questionnaire:
1.       How Rroma minority integrates in Your community?
2.       How other cultures can adapt in Romania?
3.       How can you understand each other in your community?
Ø      Two women (one of them said):
1.       Her aswer was – Rroma minority well integrates in our community. It is not a problem.
2.       Her aswer was – Other cultures can adopt very well in Romania. Romanian are very friendly and opened for foreigners  . Other countries aren‘t so opened as the country of Romania.
3.        Her aswer was – Very well.  In our community relationships are very  good. There  are  strong links between neighbours. People communicate with your neighbours, organize party, help each other to do works and something like that.

This example of interview was one of many others, which were exercised our group and other coleagues - participants too. All interview were recordered.
_____
Also, I would like to tell and share my thoughts, feels about our trip to mountains. Today, after lunch our  group went to mountains. In mountains we climbed afoot about 2 kilometres towards a monastery – Shitul Pahomie. We saw a lot of beautiful views: huge trees, mountains springs, couloirs, valleys. It was unrepeatable. A natural nature, clean wheather of mounts and healthful water of springs – these things describe a country of Romonia. I am simple suprised.
I give thanks for organizators and our team also. Today was a special atmosphere !

And finally, I would like to say that romanian dinner was very delicious. Romania and Lithuania have several similar dishes. Besides, romanian dances were active, was a conviviality fell on a dance floor.

The third day of the Project

Hello,

Yesterday we continued a program from the list. We represented our videoclips about youth activities. Also, all participants discused about citizenship of European Union. After that, we were divided in animal groups (giraffas, zebras, rabbits and...). It was very funny! Our group of rabbits make a cross word about European citizenship. It looked that (the main word was BORDERS):
ELONGING
PPORTUNITIES
IGHTS
EMOCRACY
XPERIENCE
ESPONSIBILITIES
YSTEM

When we ate lunch, then we are walking through Baile Olanesti. There are very more nice views.

First day

First day of actual work was excellent. I managed to learn a few words in each language.
I hope every day to be as interesting as this.

The first day of the Project

Good evening, Coleagues,
I am Gintautas Kasperavičius from Lithuania. I would like to share with You our minds about activities, which will be during this project. So, I will write about it.
Today (16th of June) our day started when we ate breakfast. After this we are going to Ramnicu Valcea, therein took place launching of this project. We heard speeches and congratulates of representatives of national organizations. During this conference, Mrs Georgeta Mureanu invited the heads of participants to say a little bit about participation and activities, which is implemented in these organizations and shortly to represent yourself.
This day our group (of all participants) was in an ethnographical village, which is similar like the Rumšiškės (an enthnographic place) of Lithuania. In this place, a very good guide (He told me a lot of news about romanian customs) led through that village and showed buildings: an old school, an elderly hotel – cookshop, a church, a watermill. What is more, in village was a cow and were several dogs also :).
Later we were coming to a monastery of orthodoxy, we saw a wonderful church, iconics, lodgments and a rapid river.
When we came back in hotel we had a supper.
Introductions games were very happy.
Finally, I would like to say that a landscape is controversial than in Lithuania. The mountains are very beautiful. It is impressive!
